The new Version 0.2.1 comes with more tonal palettes for your choosing - namely, pulse waveforms. Pulse waves were used a lot in the Nintendo NES games. I know you'll instantly recognize the nasally, chippy sounds!
To hear what a pulse wave sounds like, try this example with Version 0.2.1 or later:
The new BEEFUP effect that's used in the 2nd channel will come in handy whenever you need a boost to a soft audio signal. Sine and triangle waves can benefit a lot from this since they sound softer than square or saw waves.
Pulse waves work very well with a decaying envelope shaping - to get a quick classic NES sound, the settings we have in this example -
will give you a good starting point.
