Hello Hiro ! I hope you're still doing fine.
I already had BeepComp installed for some time, but it felt very complicated to use until three days ago, when I actually tried using it. And it's just incredible, the loops and tuplets are amazing, and it's just perfect for fast music with complex rhythms. So I've been playing with it for two days at school, loosing all my progress two times in a row... The first time it crashed analyzing an unfinished tuplet, and since I had two instances opened the auto-save file was overwritten in the blink of an eye. The second time I just overwrited it with another project by mistake... It would be nice if it was just a player, so everything can be done with internal software (like using a noteblock instead of the goofy GPU-vore software editor). But the rest is so well made, really cool ! I'm spreading the word to all my friends, this has so much potential. So I can't post my own creations since I lost them, but I made an arrangement of something you might recognize :

Hello Breee, thank you for sharing your creation! Listening to your work warmed my heart today You said this is an arrangement of something, but I didn't recognize it. Sorry. Will you give us a clue? I'm impressed that within a short time you've already learned to take advantage of many of BeepComp's advanced features. You're really good at this! Sorry to hear you've lost some of your work... Creating a player version which just loads from a text file so you can use any text editor of your choice won't be too hard. It's just the matter of stripping down the text editor part. I'll definitely keep this in mind when I work on the program further. Since my last update, life has thrown me some curveballs and I have been diverted to other things... but I'm thinking of starting to work on the much needed updates soon. It'll be my great pleasure (and I'm sure others' as well) to hear more work you come up with as you continue to play around with BeepComp

Now I would like to arrange the whole OST of the best Super Mario World rom hack of all : Mario's Mystery Meat. I'm starting with one of my favourite song, it's called Beyond The Deep Blue Sea and comes from Final Fantasy V. I already got a very complete midi split into parts using Musescore ; thankfully there are always only 9 note chords, maybe that's a SNES instrument limitation (?). I really wish it was possible to write using a midi input, either from a file or from a midi keyboard, physical or on-screen. Doesn't look that difficult, I tried using a Python library and almost got it right using a file (before I ran into Python jank). Anyway, I hope you're doing ok ! <3 I keep you posted.
